Meet Red Room Collective
George has an extensive portfolio of photography and video work across the music, film and television industries. After graduating from Kingston University in 2018 with a BA (Hons) in Photography, he went on to tour with multiple bands across Europe, creating content along the way.
From there, George moved into music videos, working with Say Goodnight Films in roles including gaffer, director of photography and director. During this time, he helped create music videos for artists including The Kooks and Royal Blood.
George later entered the world of film and television as a lighting technician, spending six years working across a wide range of productions and developing a strong understanding of lighting, atmosphere and visual storytelling.
Red Room Collective is a shared project with Avery, bringing together the different aspects of George’s creative background to create distinctive photography and video with a strong sense of atmosphere and individuality.
GEORGE
Avery is a photographer, retoucher and visual artist with a background in portraiture, product photography, creative image-making and short-form content. A First Class Digital Photography graduate from Ravensbourne University, her early work received recognition through selected competitions and a UK touring exhibition, shaping her interest in atmospheric, story-led imagery.
At Red Room Collective, Avery brings a strong eye for detail, atmosphere and visual storytelling, with a particular focus on photography, retouching and creative image-making. Her approach combines polished execution with a more imaginative, editorial sensibility.
